We’re back, baby! After a brief hiatus, PADC Commune returned to Gordon St Garage on Tuesday morning for coffee, chats, coffee and creativity. And coffee. Many of Perth’s advertising and design community were in slightly sleep-deprived attendance, including new PADC president Josh Edge.
“Getting the first Commune of the year up and running again was high on the committee’s agenda. It’s always awesome to get that many creative people in one room, in such a casual setting. This was an awesome turnout and we’re hoping to see even more friendly faces next time.” said Edge.
“It’s also an excellent opportunity for new faces to become familiar ones,” committee member Anneliese Sullivan said. “I’m not sure I’d have got my job without getting to know my bosses-to-be at events like these. We’d love to see even more students and recent (and not-so-recent) graduates join us next time.”
Photographer and new PADC committee member Mel Branson took some great shots on the day, and we’re eternally grateful for the extensive retouching done on the morning’s eyebags, crusty lips and slightly grey skin tones.
